Verb “To be”
Task 1. Вставь в предложения нужные формы глагола «to be»: am, is, are.
- I … from Moscow.
- My grandfather and grandmother … in London.
- It … a red flower.
- I can see a kitten. It … nice.
- We … in Great Britain.
- My brother … nine.
- They … not pupils.
- … she Pam or Mary?
- … you seven or eight?
- The dog … funny.
Task 2. Прочитай вопросы и найди к ним ответы.
- What is your name? а) I am six.
- How old are you? б) No, I am not. I’m ten.
- Are you five, Tommy? в) I’m a pupil.
- Where are you from? г) My name is Bob.
- Are you a pupil or a teacher? д) I’m from Paris.
Task 3. Сделай эти предложения отрицательными и вопросительными и запиши их.
- Ted is a driver.
- We are from Madrid.
- They are pupils.
- It is a green frog.
- He is clever.
Task 4. Вставь вместо пропусков is, are, am.
